Join us for a free live painting demonstration as C J walks and talks you through her creative process for landscape painting in oils. Demonstration and discussions will include basic composition, colour mixing, use of medium, general oil painting practice and more. This will be a relaxed setting where open discussion, banter, and fun interactions throughout are typical and welcome!  CJ will develop a single painting over the 3-day course of the lavender celebration, so do check back if you're interested in the progression. 

Seating will be limited to just 12 seats around the art booth, so early reservation is recommended.

C J'S DEMO CALENDAR: 

4:00pm-5:00pm Friday 7th July: Initial demonstration shows how a traditional oil painting is easily composed with a simple monochromatic underpainting process. 
4:00-5:00pm Saturday 9th July: The painting progresses demonstrating simple colour mixing, layering, brushstrokes and glazing techniques.
