Starting with light and shadow, allowing the shapes and forms to simply appear spontaneously, I'll leave that layer to dry a wee while, and then add the colour. Bright orange and teal are always favourite complementary colours - and evoke the elements of fire and water, along with lots of vibrant visions stimulated by the imagery.
