C J Elsip is an internationally emerging, versatile British fine artist of over 30 years experience, with works featuring in many private and corporate collections around the world. She now lives and works in the Pacific Northwest region of the USA.
"Almost 30 years ago I had a nasty car accident and visions from the resulting near-death experience forever changed my perception of life, death and the nature of our universe. I have always loved art, and my art became absolutely crucial to the healing, recovery and self-development process from a series of traumatic experiences. Art is now my vocation and absolute passion, and I am deeply honored now to be sharing what I have learned to help others along their own creative and healing journeys.
I grew up with influences such as Shakespeare, Tolkein and Turner and I have always sensed an inherent appreciation and strong connection with the awe-inspiring beauty and powerful conscious presence within and around the natural environment and human nature. My subjects range widely from landscape through abstract, travelling naturally between physical and metaphysical realms, always aiming to evoke a strong sense of the spiritual, mystical and the powerful sense of Being inherent in all the colours of light."
